Book Description

An artificial intelligence system hosted into a quantum computer will replace the present justice system across the world. The novel features a battle between an ancenturies-old secret fellowship of scientists working to achieve peace and justice in the world and the present political system that is fighting to take control over the new ” Entity”, the artificial intelligence that is controlling the quantum computer. The entire project was in fact built on the basis of Nikola Tesla’s secret plans, stolen and hidden by the Government.
Professor Leo Fechner is killed in his New York lab by an explosion that destroys the quantum computer he was building to house the “Entity”, a weaponized A.I. project funded by the military. The members of the quantum computer team are subsequently terminated by a shadowy government agency, all except Matt Swan and Heather Brewster, the professor’s protégés. Before he dies, the professor entrusts to them the keys to a puzzle that will eventually lead them to a quantum computer far older and vaster, buried deep beneath the Nevada Desert, which will alter not only their destiny but that of the whole world. Pursued by murderous government agencies and a melancholy hitman undergoing a slow-burning crisis of conscience, Matt Swan and Heather Brewster embark on a suspenseful escape that will take them first to Wardenclyffe, Long Island, the site of Nikola Tesla’s laboratory; a covert communications and hacking hub in the Rockies; a cathedral in Colorado Springs with a century-old connection to Tesla; a government black ops site on the outskirts of Las Vegas; the Hoover Dam; and finally, the Nevada Desert, the setting for a dénouement as surprising as it is dramatic. On the way, they will be helped by an organization of juvenile hackers established by the professor as part of a decades-long plan to bring about the just world envisaged by Tesla and his fellowship of scientists.
